The Heart of Your Industrial Shredder: Why High-Quality Rotors Define Performance & Longevity
In the market for a tough industrial shredder? Or is your aging shredder slowing, deteriorating, or lacking the reliability your operations require? For metal shredding and heavy-duty material processing, the truth is clear: your shredder’s strength hinges on its core component—the rotor. As a specialized industrial shredder rotor manufacturer, we know this critical part separates consistent productivity from costly downtime.

High precision shoulder bolts
Shoulder bolts, also known as shoulder screws or shaft shoulder bolts, are a special type of bolt characterized by a smooth cylindrical portion with a diameter larger than the threaded portion. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel, with strength grades such as 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9. They come in a variety of sizes and models, with shoulder diameters ranging from 3mm to 20mm and lengths from 10mm to over 100mm. Surface coatings include zinc plating, nickel plating, Dacromet coating, and black anodizing to improve corrosion resistance.

Forging materials
The main materials for forging are carbon steels and alloy steels of various compositions, followed by aluminum, magnesium, copper, titanium and their alloys. The original states of materials include bar stock, ingots, metal powders and liquid metals. The ratio of the cross-sectional area of a metal before deformation to that after deformation is called the forging ratio. The correct selection of forging ratio, reasonable heating temperature and holding time, reasonable starting forging temperature and final forging temperature, as well as reasonable deformation amount and deformation speed are of great significance to improving product quality and reducing costs.

The forging process flow
Different forging methods have different processes, among which hot die forging has the longest process flow. The general sequence is: blanking of the forging billet; Heating of forging billets Roll forging blank preparation; Die forging forming; Trimming the edge Punching; Correction; Intermediate inspection, to check the dimensions and surface defects of the forgings; Heat treatment of forgings is used to eliminate forging stress and improve the machinability of metals. Cleaning mainly involves removing the surface oxide scale. Correction; Inspection: Generally, forgings need to undergo appearance and hardness checks. For important forgings, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property, residual stress and non-destructive testing are also required.
Characteristics of forgings
Compared with castings, metals can improve their microstructure and mechanical properties after forging processing. After the casting structure undergoes hot working deformation through forging methods, due to the deformation and recrystallization of the metal, the original coarse dendrites and columnar grains are transformed into fine-grained and uniformly sized equiaxed recrystallized structures. This compacts and welds the original segregation, porosity, and slag inclusions within the steel ingot, making the structure more compact and enhancing the plasticity and mechanical properties of the metal.
Forging operation
The "Giant heavy-duty forging operation equipment" has been successfully developed and passed the expert acceptance, filling the gap in the field of large-scale forging operation machine technology and equipment in China.
